From helping doctors and patients navigate insurance questions, to organizing large teams and events at Mariners Church and Rancho Christian Church, I’ve always been passionate about guiding people with care and integrity.

My path into health insurance began when my mom became eligible for Medicare. Together, we faced the same challenges many people do: endless paperwork, confusing choices, and a flood of information. That experience opened my eyes and heart to a real need. I became a licensed Health Insurance Agent so I could be part of the solution.

There are specific times during the year when you can sign up for Medicare or make changes to your coverage:

Initial Enrollment Period (IEP)
Your first chance to enroll in Medicare. It begins 3 months before the month you turn 65, includes your birthday month, and ends 3 months after, giving you a total of 7 months to enroll.

General Enrollment Period (GEP)
If you missed your IEP, you can enroll between January 1 and March 31 each year. Your coverage will begin the following month.

Special Enrollment Period (SEP)
You may qualify for a SEP if you’ve had certain life changes, like losing employer coverage, moving, or retiring. These periods vary depending on your situation.

Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)
From October 15 to December 7, you can review and change your Medicare Advantage or Part D prescription drug plan for the following year.

• Receive financial assistance to lower monthly premiums based on your income
